November 12, 2010 9:52 PM I feel sorry for postal carriers this time of year. Can you guess why? Here’s a hint. It has nothing to do with the winter weather we’ll be getting in the weeks and months ahead.
For the past couple of weeks I have been getting at least 10-15 catalogs in my mailbox each day. Not the skinny catalogs. Nope, these are the big, fat ones filled with all those gift ideas for the holidays. I can’t help but wonder if my mailman groans everytime he gets to my stack of mail and then breaths a sigh of relief when he can finally dump all those catalogs in my mailbox. It has to be heavy carrying all of them and I’m sure I’m not the only one getting so many either. Chances are good there will be even more coming between now and Christmas. Funny thing is, I haven’t ordered from most of these companies in years and yet they still keep sending the catalogs. Are you experiencing the same thing?
