Heinz Ketchup Announces It’s Coming Out With A New Flavor
This isn't the first time the company has changed up the flavor on their condiments. They've done a spicy ketchup with Tabasco sauce, and even one with balsamic vinegar. Now, they're getting on board with Sriracha.
Sriracha is a spicy sauce that has been taking over in recent years. Companies have started using this sauce as the trend grows - from Subway making a Sriracha Chicken Melt, to beef jerky flavored with the sauce. Even Taco Bell and Pizza Hut are planning on launching dishes that include this popular sauce.
According to NBC New York,
The Pittsburgh-based company said it will start selling a ketchup blended with Sriracha flavor this month. Sriracha's ingredients include chili pepper paste, garlic and vinegar. The sauce is named for and patterned after flavors from eastern Thailand.
The red hot sauce has been a favorite of mine since the first time I tried it. I can't wait to try it on some thing from Taco Bell, and we all know how much I love Taco Bell.
And I'm ready for this new flavor of Heinz to come out so I can buy a bag of fries and try it on those!
