Helena Creates A Stir At The Golden Globes
January 31, 2011 10:15 AM Actress Helena Bonham had lots of people talking at the recent Golden Globes show. They were critical of her fashion choice for the night. What could she have worn that caused such a negative buzz?
She wore different colored shoes. Helena told People magazine she was just having fun, saying “Why not wear mismatching shoes? Who says we can’t?” As for the fashion police, she’s not obsessed with them at all and admits sometimes her fashion choices aren’t great but that’s okay. “Sometimes I get it right and sometimes I get it wrong. But fashion is all about having fun. I think fashion has been hijacked by the fashion industry creating rules on what one should wear and I feel like breaking the mold and seeing the world won’t crumble.” As for what she plans to wear to the Oscars, she says she may wear the same dress she had on at the Golden Globes and put the shoes on her head!
