Mike Olsen is the definition of staying positive no matter what life throws at you. A construction accident at age 23 left him paralyzed, but that didn't stop Olsen. Despite being wheelchair bound, he's still actively involved in all kinds of sports, including racing in the Boilermaker every year. But he may not be able to race this year because he's outgrown his wheelchair. So his girlfriend Kellie Plato is hoping to get him a new one.

Plato has started a Go Fund Me campaign to raise enough money to buy Olsen a new racing chair. "This year would be year #5 of Mike competing in the 15k Boilermaker, something he looks forward to all year long. Unfortunately, it's not looking like he's going to be able to do it due to his racing chair nearly falling apart. His hips have bruises on them the size of golf balls from still trying to use a chair that doesn't fit. But he still tries," Plato says.

It costs over $5,000 for a competitive racing chair and in less than 24 hours the campaign has already raised $3,000. Olsen says the outpouring of support has left him in tears. "I don't even know what to say."

Let's help get Mike a new racing chair so we can see him compete in 7 short weeks in this years Boilermaker!!
