Even though school hasn't been in session that long, retailers have left back to school shopping behind and moved on to the next big thing. The holidays. What are the hottest toys for holiday shopping 2014?

According to NBC, Walmart tested 80 different toys with a room full of kids ages 18 months to 12 years old. So what toys did the kids clamor to play with?

From Walmart's second annual "Chosen By Kids Top 20 Toys List," these are the hottest toy trends for the upcoming holiday season.

Toys that are from licensed shows or movies, like "Frozen" and "Doc McStuffins." The Elsa doll looks to be extremely popular with kids.

Crafts and creative toys will be very popular, such as the Maya Group Make Your Case Cell Phone cover, which retails for $24.99. Or the Spin Master Sew Cool Sewing Machine for $34.97.

Electronic toys will be flying off shelves for the holidays. For instance, the Spin Master Flutterbye Light Up Fairy for $39.88 or the Leapfrog Leap TV gaming system for $149.97 that will be available later this year.

Classic toy brands that have been revamped like Mattel or Hot Wheels. The Barbie Glam Camper for $83.78 or Hot Wheels Street Remote Control Flying Car for $54.86.

Ride- on toys and scooters should do well for the holidays too. If you don't mind shelling out big bucks, try the Razor Crazy Cart Spinning Go Kart for $349.

Parents, grandparents and Santa, you're going to be hearing about those toys from now until the holidays. Consider yourself warned.
