A few months ago I decided I wanted to quit smoking. Since then, it's been a roller coaster ride filled with good days, bad days, days without cigarettes, and days of over-smoking.

After having no luck with just quitting 'cold turkey,' I took a new approach of cutting back. Throughout the weeks, this method seemed to work the best. That is, until I got down to the end. Giving myself 4 cigarettes or less a day, seemed impossible. I still had my goal to quit by December 1st, but it wasn't looking good.

So what happened? Did I finally stick to it? Was I able to reach my goal?

This really is the hardest thing I've ever tried to do in my life, but I want to do it. I want to be able to say that I kicked such a bad habit. All I can do is hope that taking this step in my battle against cigarettes will help me end the 'need' and 'want' for them, for good!
