How to Make Butter and Ketchup Spaghetti [VIDEO]

Inspired by the recent epsisode of ‘Here Comes Honey Boo Boo,’ where the family enjoys a meal of spaghetti with a sauce made from melted butter and ketchup, I decided to make the dish.

I’ve never heard of this preparation for pasta, which I know is also called ‘depression spaghetti.’  It’s certainly exceptionally easy and I could see how the taste would appeal to children.  The ketchup imparts a tangy sweetness to the sauce.  It took a little getting used to and after a small bowl I wasn’t too anxious for more.  But I’m glad I tried it. Update:  My tummy has been unsettled all night.  Even though we’re both Upstate New Yorkers, I don’t have the same iron stomach as ShoeNice22, apparently.
