According to Glamour, here’s how you can combat those negative body thoughts instead of letting them take over:
- Rewire your brain. Focus on things that make you feel good about your body. Constant negative thinking about your body teaches your brain to focus on the bad stuff.
- Remember- obsessing about your diet or looks doesn’t make you actually look better.
- Appreciate your body for what it does, not how it looks. Next time you’re cursing your flabby arms, think of the amazing things they can do and be grateful for your health!
