Is 'How To Suspend Water Without A Cup' Video Real Or Fake?

Have you seen the viral video going around on the internet called "How To Suspend Water Without A Cup"? Is this video actually real, or a magic trick?

Now is this video real? Truly, we see your doubts. There is no way this is possible. So we decided to try it out:

We tried to make the video as close as possible. We used a similar style glass, we used two styles of cardboard to try and match what the person in the video had, and we attempted the same motions.

Clearly the video used some sort of editing, or special effects. There is no way the water would stay in place like that, NO WAY! In our office we have several theories including the water being part jello, or partially frozen.
