I Ate the World’s Largest Crème Brûlée
Some of our radio station corporate grand poobahs were in town recently and we went out for dinner. One of the options on the dessert menu was crème brûlée - one of my favorites.
I was shocked when the dish arrived, it wasn't in a small ramekin but rather in a super size coffee cup that might have doubled as a kiddie pool.
Not only was the custard great but the carmelized sugar topping was toasted a perfectly done crunch.
I want to know, is there an item on a dessert menu that you MUST order when you see it?

Ice cream used to be my dessert of choice but not any more. Nope, it's been replaced by cupcakes from a new store in the New Hartford Shopping Center called Lizzy's Cupcakery. Love cupcakes? Then you'll love this store. Lizzy's Cupcakery doesn't have the same old boring cupcake flavors you typically see.
