Ice Cream Season is Officially Here: CNY Shop Now Open

There may still be snow on the ground, but it's not too early for ice cream season in Central New York. And businesses are starting to open for the 2018 scooping year.

One of The Valley's go-to ice cream hangouts has announced they are officially open for the 2018 season. I'm talking about the Ice Cream Station in Ilion. The Ice Cream Station is usually one of the first places to open up their doors each year, but as soon as they do... Well, the rest of the ice cream places throughout Central New York seem to follow suit.

The Ice Cream Station posted the news on their Facebook Page on Thursday, March 15th, saying...

"LIFE'S SHORT, EAT ICE CREAM !"2018 SEASON STARTS SAT 3/17 @ 3PM!

I happened to drive past this ice cream place yesterday (March 18th), and the cold weather wasn't stopping business.

So if you're looking for a delicious treat and you're in the Ilion, Frankfort, or Herkimer area, the Ice Cream Station is serving up cones, waffle bowls, sundaes and more. Hey, even if you're in Utica or Rome, why not stop by and get some dessert?! The Ice Cream Station is open from 5pm - 8pm Monday through Friday, and 3pm - 8pm on Saturday and Sunday.
