In Defense of Broadcasting – My Career is Again Ranked As One of the Worst in America

The annual list of best and worst jobs is out. Mathematician leads the list. At the bottom of the list is the life-and-limb-losing prone career of lumberjack. But just a scant 4 spots from the bottom of the list is my chosen career, broadcaster.

They say our jobs are high stress. Nah. It's really not. We're paid to talk on the radio and dream up things to talk to you about. That's cake.

They say my job is at risk. Well, I have to give the listmakers that, this is a notoriously fickle occupation.

But does broadcaster truly belong at the bottom of the list of worst jobs? Here's my take, In Defense of Broadcasting.
