Orissan Christians Celebrate Easter Under Threat Of Secular Violence
RAIKIA, INDIA – APRIL 11: A young Christian girl crosses herself during a midnight prayer service at the Our Lady Of Charity Church on April 11, 2009 in the village of Raikia, 350kms south of Bhubaneswar, India. Christians gathered to pray under fear of threat of continued secular violence in the Kandhamal area. Violence by Hindu extremists towards Christian minorities in the state has seen hundreds killed, over a thousand homes and scores of churches destoyed over the last several months. Thousands of people still live in relief camps funded by the government, for fear of repeated attacks. (Photo by Daniel Berehulak/Getty Images)
