Rochester's Strong Memorial Hospital had an interesting patient show up at the emergency room on Monday when a deer made its way into the hospital.

TWCnews.com reports that the deer got about 20 feet inside the emergency department before it collapsed. Staff members then managed to get the injured animal on a stretcher and take it outside.

Chief of Public Safety Mark Fischer told TWCnews.com it looked as if the deer was hit by a car and had more than one broken leg.

Local police officers removed the deer and it was then put down by a Sheriff's Deputy.

Too bad the deer wasn't able to wander into an animal hospital.
