We've seen a lot of ROADS that are shorter than this DRIVEWAY, located in New Hartford.

It spans an estimated hundreds of yards, off of Route 12, and must be a challenge to plow in the winter. It appears to be gravel. From the angle in the photo above, it doesn't appear to have an end. Is it the longest driveway in Central New York? Or, maybe even in all of New York State? And, we have some other questions:

How long does it take to walk to and from the mailbox? Or, is there a golf cart available? And, when you're driving your car, is there enough room at any point to turn around?

Here's an aerial shot. The driveway runs vertically in the left-center of this picture, toward the house at the top of the page. This is a LONG driveway:

As for the longest PAVED driveway in the United States, according to a 2017 article in CountryLiving.com, it's part of a plantation in ColleyvilleTexas. The 0.3-mile-long private drive comes complete with a tree-lined corridor, double gates, and a fancy circle drive.

The WORLD'S longest driveway is the Jebel Hafeet Mountain Road in Abu Dhabi. It leads to the palace of Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan. But, at 4,000 feet long, can it really be considered a driveway?
