It’s Beginning To Look Like We’ll Have NFL Football
Great news ladies, your man will most likely be in front of the TV every Sunday this Fall, did I just hear a sigh? There is a good chance NFL action will not be missed.
The NFL owners have approved the proposed 10-year labor deal by a vote of 31-0. As for the players, it’s a deal they’d rather not work with. The Oakland Raiders abstained from the vote which means Ralph Wilson and my favorite team, the Buffalo Bills, are behind the new deal.
However, NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell did announce in a press conference that the first preseason game, the Hall of Fame Game between the Bears and Rams next Sunday, has been cancelled. If the players give their thumbs up, the official NFL business year would open on Saturday.

As you can see, the talks have got me excited.
