Janet Jackson Can Now Say She’s A Billionaire

Janet Jackson's financial status has been upgraded.    According to Variety, Janet Jackson can now say she's a billionaire.

Jackson's  successful career, which has lasted for decades, has landed her in the billionaire's club.  Concert tours have earned her $458 million, movie roles account for $304 million, she's had $260 million in album sales and over $81 million from sponsorships.  She's not the only billionaire in the family.  Her husband, Wissam Al Mana, is a billionaire too from investments in the Middle East.  Jackson has joined the ranks of billionaires like Oprah, Harry Potter author J.K. Rowling and Steven Spielberg.   Not bad for a little girl from Indiana.
