Wilco’s Jeff Tweedy Does Hilarious Acoustic Cover of the Black Eyed Peas’ ‘I Gotta Feeling’ [VIDEO]
Wilco frontman Jeff Tweedy admitted that learning the Black Eyed Peas’ once-ubiquitous smash hit ‘I Gotta Feeling’ was more difficult then he expected it to be.
“This has been very challenging,” Tweedy said, during an event in Chicago Tuesday night where he premiered the cover. “I really overestimated myself or underestimated the Black Eyed Peas. I honestly have no idea which, but it’s really not my skill set.”
Tweedy is selling himself way short here, as his acoustic, interactive deconstruction of their elaborate party anthem is (deliberately) laugh out funny.
