Jennifer Lawrence may be a well-loved Oscar-winner now, but as a kid, the other chicks didn't like her so much. Probably because some of those same endearing, human qualities she has now that we love so much made her the odd girl out back then.

Little did those bullies know they were noogying a future Academy Award winner.

“I changed schools a lot when I was in elementary school because some girls were mean,” Lawrence admitted to the Sun of her pre-acting days. “They were less mean in middle school, because I was doing all right, although this one girl gave [me] invitations to hand out to her birthday party that I wasn’t invited to.”

When asked how she responded to the mean task, Lawrence replied, “I just hocked a loogie on them and threw them in the trash can.”

Well done. If we'd been there, we'd have given that move a slow clap.

Considering her past experience with bullying, J.Law had some advice for the recipients of similar treatment: “Don’t worry about the bitches. That could be a good motto, because you come across people like that throughout your life.”

It's possible that truer words have never been spoken.
