Congrats to Kelly Clarkson! Even though she's known for breakup anthems that we sometimes sing at karaoke while drinking whiskey to make the pain go away, she's sure happy herself. She's now engaged to Brandon Blackstock.

The songstress announced her good news over Twitter yesterday (Dec. 15) -- apparently Blackstock put a ring on it the night before, and oh, what a ring it is.

"I'M ENGAGED!!!!!" she wrote. "I wanted y'all to know!! Happiest night of my life last night! I am so lucky and am with the greatest man ever."

The rock, which you can see at left, looks fit enough to give the newly svelte 30-year-old singer a backache. (Here's hoping it doesn't turn her finger green like she threatened in 'Never Again.')

"Everyone has been asking about my engagement ring, so here it is ... It's a yellow canary diamond with diamonds around it and Brandon designed it with Johnathon Arndt!" she posted on WhoSay account. "They did an amazing job! I can't wait to make Brandon's ring with Johnathon as well!"

Clarkson began dating Blackstock, a talent manager who's also country superstar Reba McEntire's stepson, about 10 months ago and insisted they're not in a hurry to get hitched. The pair bought a house together and Clarkson reportedly gets along great with Blackstock's children.

“There’s no rush; we’re not pushing anything,” Clarkson told Life & Style during a recent interview. “We will totally get married in the future. He already has two awesome kids — an 11-year-old and a 7-year-old.”

Good news for her, bad news for us -- and radio programmers -- who sometimes need to rage at our exes through song. Rest in peace, angry Kelly. Our lives will suck without you.
