'Chocolate Layer Cake' or 'Blueberry Scone' don't seem out there when it comes to candle scents, but what about one that smells like fast food?

I don't know about you, but I LOVE the smell of an apple pie scented candle. There's nothing wrong with that, and it makes your entire house smell SO good. But, are there some food smells that shouldn't be recreated in candle form?

I think so.

This comes after reading an article about a fast-food chain that has launched a limited edition candle. I'm talking about KFC. CBS posted an article announcing that KFC was offering gravy scented candles. Granted, the article says they are only selling 230 candles, and they're only available in the UK, but it's got me thinking...

Is that taking candle scents a little too far?

Don't get me wrong, I love some KFC mashed potatoes smothered in their delicious gravy, but I don't know if I want my whole house smelling like that.

Maybe I wouldn't want my house to smell like that because it would make me hungry constantly. Who knows?! But then again, as a lover of tacos and nachos, I still wouldn't want a taco-scented candle.

I want to know what you think - If this candle was available in the United States, would you buy it? If someone got one for you, would you use it? Voice your opinion on our Lite 98.7 Facebook Page.
