The sheet has hit the fan.

A woman in Craigsville, Virginia has found herself in the middle of a controversy after she allowed her 7-year-old son to get dressed as a member of the Ku Klux Klan for Halloween.

Jessica Black said she let her son, Jackson, wear the costume because her brother did it when he was growing. Jackson, meanwhile, said the outfit "was cool."

Jessica said she talked to Jackson before she gave him the go-ahead:

"I did tell him that if you do it, you know there's going to be people talking about you, there's going to be people saying bad things about you when you do wear it."

While neighbors were stunned to see Jackson trick-or-treating in the area, Jessica stands by her actions, noting, "It's supposed to be white with white. Black with black. Man with woman and all of that. That's what the KKK stands for. The KKK every year, raises money to donate to the St. Jude's."
