When Lady Gaga let "vomit artist" Millie Brown puke all over her during her SXSW performance, a lot of fans were grossed out and didn't buy that vomiting is art when it's public. Gaga stood by her performance when she responded to Demi Lovato's criticisms that it glorified and glamorized eating disorders and bulimia.

"I have struggled with an eating disorder for over 10 years and I take that very seriously, I take the struggle of others very seriously," Mother Monster told E! "I am very supportive of Demi's struggle and her recovery as well as the recovery of anyone who is suffering from that."

She furthered, "But this performance had absolutely nothing to do with any eating disorder, and we never intended for it to be taken that way. I''m really proud of the performance and really stand by the message of rage and pain that we were trying to express in that moment."

Props to Gaga for responding to Lovato's pointed criticisms in a classy way. She was supportive and simply defended herself.

Gaga has no regrets over her controversial performance, and she is in a happy place, saying that she loves meditating, yoga, rock 'n' roll and whiskey! She likes to gather with friends, hang out and paint. "Constantly staying positive and enjoying life with other people, it's wonderful," she said. So true!
