Lady Gaga and the Rolling Stones? That's what we call generations and genres colliding. Gaga was personally invited by the classic rock legends to be a part of their upcoming pay-per-view show at the Prudential Center in Newark, N.J., just a stone's throw from Gaga's hometown of NYC. Christmas has come early for Ma Monster in the form of this invite.

The show, called 'One More Shot,' is part of the Stones' 50th anniversary spate of shows, called '50 and Counting.' The group has invited several acts to participate in the show, including Bruce Springsteen, the rock legend whom Gaga has professed to loving, thanks to her father Joe Germanotta's influence. Who wants to wager that Papa G will cross the river to be at this particular gig?

Gaga posted her excitement about being a part of the show, which airs on pay-per-view on Saturday, Dec. 15 at 9PM ET, via Facebook.

I am so honored and excited to announce I will be performing with The Rolling Stones on Dec15 for their 50th Anniversary Concert "One More Shot"

He had me at "hello, it's Mick."'

Yeah, you really don't turn Mick Jagger down when he personally extends an invite, that's for sure.

While Gaga is doing major things in her life with her career, this is certainly a huge addition to her resume. Performing with the Stones is not a chance that one stumbles upon daily, even if they are one of the biggest pop divas in the world.

The Stone said:

We're excited these extraordinary artists, Bruce Springsteen, Lady Gaga and the Black Keys, have agreed to help celebrate our 50th Anniversary as we share the night live with our fans all over the world. Now the fun begins of trying to figure out the best songs to perform together.
