UPDATE: A Lake Effect Snow advisory is now in effect for Northern Oneida and Lewis Counties.

The Lake Effect could fall late Friday evening into the day Saturday and bring the possibility of up to 7 inches in Norther Oneida County in the communities of Stokes, Westernville and Point Rock.

Oswego, Lowville and Watertown as well as the Tug Hill Plateau could see 10-18 inches of accumulation.
