Lake George Named One Of America’s Coziest Mountain Towns
Winter, spring, summer or fall, New York's mountains are beautiful fun-filled places to be. Lake George is no exception.
Expedia.com recently named Lake George one of the best mountain cities in the country, and if you've ever been there you probably know why.
Inspiring to all visitors, famous painter Georgia O'Keeffe spent a lot of time during the summers drawing inspiration for her paintings from the banks of Lake George.
During the winter months, Expedia recommends bundling up and heading outdoors to do some ice fishing on the lake, sled down the hills at Battlefield Park, or strap on the skates and hit the rink next to the high school.
