Larry King Talks His Replacement And Charlie Sheen
Despite Charlie Sheen grabbing headlines on a daily basis, Larry King isn’t caught up in the Sheen hype. He says if he was still doing his talk show on CNN, he wouldn’t be trying to get Sheen as a guest.
Larry told “The Hollywood Reporter, he’s not intrigued by Charlie Sheen but rather by the events happening now in Japan, Egypt, Libya and Iraq. Piers Morgan replaced Larry on CNN and while he thinks he’s doing a good job, Larry thinks CNN was wrong to brand Piers as “dangerous.” He says, “He’s not dangerous. He’s a nice guy.” So what is Larry up to these days? He’s the spokesperson for the Original Brooklyn Water Bagel Company in Beverly Hills, he’ll begin a comedy tour next month and will host The Peabody Awards in May. There’s also some buzz that Larry may join Jon Stewart’s “The Daily Show.”
