It’s an election year, and every candidate could use some help — even the incumbent president. While Barack Obama already has endorsements from Jay-Z and Beyonce, Entertainment Weekly snagged a list of other musicians Obama wants on his team. A lot of them surprised us!

Joining Jiggaman on the list was ‘The Voice‘ coach Adam Levine, as well as ‘Glee‘ star Lea Michele, and favorite of Sasha and Malia Obama — the Jonas Brothers.

Having the Jonas Brothers on the list wasn’t a shock. The Disney trio have performed at the White House a few times, even surprising the first daughters after a scavenger hunt. Maybe this is the perfect reason for them to have their long-anticipated reunion!

We were a little surprised to see Ms. Michele on the list. Is the commander in chief a closet Gleek? Or did he just really love ‘New Year’s Eve?’ In any case, Rachel Berry looks great in red, white and blue.

The outspoken Levine would be the most likely to be vocal about a campaign, though his views can be divisive and potentially politically incorrect. The ‘Moves Like Jagger’ singer has lashed out at right-leaning Fox News for using his music on the network, calling it “evil” on Twitter and later holding his ground in a televised interview. Levine has also publicly criticized his biggest ‘Voice’ competitor and the MTV Video Music Awards.

Also on the list? Fergie, John Legend, Sara Bareilles, Ricky Martin and more. It sounds like Obama was going for diversity and mass appeal. We’ll just have to wait to see who bites!
