Lego Spill Closes I-79 in West Virginia [PHOTO]

You thought the great Duplo Distaster of ’79 was bad. Wait until you see why an interstate highway in West Virginia needed to be shut down to traffic this week.
A stretch of I-79 was closed after thousands of Lego blocks littered the highway. Apparently a traveler had the building blocks in cases on the roof of her car when they blew open littering the roadway with thousands of the tiny plastic pieces.

But fear not—a Legos truck didn’t explode. A woman named Tiffany Lantz saw the photo on Facebook and offered an explanation:
Those legos belonged to my 11 yr old son they where in totes strapped to the top of the durango they fell off strap came loose he cried it seemed like forever but I tried to recover as many as I could cause I don’t have the money to buy him anymore.
