Light a Virtual Candle for Baby Maddox

Help light up the world for baby Maddox. Everyone is being asked to light a virtual candle at 8pm tonight, Wednesday February 24th for the Syracuse child who was killed. 107,000 people have been invited, over 16,000 have accepted and many started lighting candles yesterday.

Ryan Lawrence, Maddox's father is charged with murder after the baby's body was pulled from Onondaga Creek in Syracuse.

An amber alert was issued Sunday, February 21st but according to Syracuse.com, Maddox was already dead, her body burned and hidden in the creek.

Lawrence was arrested Monday night and led police to the spot he left the baby.

A Facebook page in memory of Baby Maddox has been created along with a prayer chain page to leave condolences for the family.

A Syracuse sign company is creating R.I.P decals for Maddox. John Leonard Bellavia says he's "received over 3000 messages and has worked 7 hours to produce about 1000 decals. At least 3 local signs shops called to offer material."

Bellavia Signs will be open from 1-5pm today at 1949 Teall Avenue in Syracuse for anyone who wants to pick up a decal for free. For anyone living out of town or state and still would like a decal, can mail a self addressed envelope with postage or send your request to John Leonard Bellavia.
