Imagine saddling up to a bar with 15 of your friends and pedaling around Syracuse. It's the Yellow Fellow Pedal Powered Pub and it's coming.

Heck that looks fun. My friends are talented fabricators and manufacturers. Why not get them together to see if we can this thing happen

In the 1890's a Syracuse company manufactured the single most popular bike frame on the planet called the 'Yellow Fellow.'The pedal pub uses the popular bike frame and actually originated in Amsterdam. Over the last couple of year's it's been popping up in the United States with one in Buffalo and Albany.

Michael Heagerty, who is an ambassador for Syracuse and often gives tours thought, "Heck that looks fun. My friends are talented fabricators and manufacturers. Why not get them together to see if we can this thing happen."

A GoFundMe campaign has been set up to raise the $16,000 needed for the Power Pedaled Pub. Heagerty says the goal is to have it ready to ride in the St Patrick's Day parade March 12th.

Donations of $500 or more will get you seat on the Pedal Powered Pub for the parade but Heagerty says they are going fast. "They are pretty sought after. We have four of the 16 seats taken already."

What makes the Syracuse Pedal Powered Pub different is that it will be ADA friendly. "Its very unique compared to others across the country and we have plans to make more," says Heagerty.
