Winning the lottery. Alot of us have imagined what that would be like and how we’d spend the money. If you ever did happen to win the lottery, how long would you wait before you claimed the money? One North Carolina couple waited until the last day before coming forward to claim the money.
Erin and Raleigh Hill won a million bucks but held onto their winning lottery ticket for almost six months, waiting to come forward until one day before it was going to expire. Why the wait? Raleigh says he wasn’t ready to face “the hoopla.” Now that they’ve claimed their prize, Raleigh and his wife Erin are thinking of taking a trip to Ireland and may buy a new home. She works for the government and he’s a baggage handler, but so far aren’t saying if they plan to leave their jobs. Would you wait until the last minute if you won?
