Luggage Restrictions Don’t Stop Women From Overpacking

Now that summer is here, so many of us are taking time off and enjoying a summer vacation. As you get ready for you trip, wherever it may be, do you tend to bring too many clothes or do you pack just the right amount?
A new study, reported in the Daily Mail, finds that the average woman overpacks her suitcase by twenty six items. For a week long vacation, women need about thirty four items but instead pack sixty items “just in case.” That includes nineteen tops and sixteen bottoms. The survey also found most women like to overpack in case they can’t decide what to wear. I’ll admit, I’ve done that on more than one occasion. As for those airline weight restrictions for luggage, fifty eight percent of women polled admit they find it nearly impossible to keep their luggage within the airline’s weight limits.
