Male Models May Be The New Fad On The Price Is Right

For many years the models on the popular TV show The Price is Right were known as “Bob’s Beauties”. Those beauties were always woman who modeled on the show. Well it looks like the year 2012 finally is catching up to the 1970’s classic. The show is launching a contest to find its first male model.
The winner will be chosen by viewers. Here’s the thing that is odd, the male model will get a one-week stint on the show. One week for a nationwide search? Really? In case you were interested in trying out, brace yourself for a grueling interview process.
Eligible participants must be male, able to work in the United States, and over the age of 18. Semi-Finalists must be available to take part in a 5 part web series taping in Los Angeles on September 4 & 5, 2012. Winner must be available to work in Los Angeles on October 8-10, 2012. (Prize is valued at $2,410).”
So if you’re looking to be the winner, get ready to spend some cash because if the winner is not local to Los Angeles, he will be responsible for all of his travel, accommodations, and expenses in connection with the week he models on the show.
So pretty much hope you can win so you can pay off the credit debt you’ll have from flying out and staying in L.A.
