A couple of years ago a man from China decided to adopt a couple of puppies. He recently discovered that the adorable pooches weren't actually dogs, they were bears!

I’m relatively familiar with people who incorrectly identify animals. I grew up in rural Schoharie County so during hunting season people would drive up from New York City in the hopes of landing a big buck or a beautiful doe. Every year we would see these hopeful hunters at the local convenience store getting their morning coffee.

One day, when we pulled in the parking lot, we couldn’t help but notice an unusual looking animal on the top of a gentleman’s Toyota Camry. It didn’t look like a deer or a turkey that’s for sure. What in the world did this man have mounted to his roof? A goat. What?!! Yeah a goat! My dad thought this was just too unusual not speak up and say something. When he told the man he had mistaken a goat for a deer, he adamantly denied the fact: In his broken English he exclaimed: “No, deese is a deer. I check with my brother before I kill eet.”  I sure hope was able to find a good goat recipe.

In China, a man adopted what he thought were dogs. As it turned out, they were actually bears. According to Sean Kingston HD:

What led Kaiyu to discover the shocking truth was a poster for a wildlife protection exhibition — everything suddenly clicked. According to Shanghaiist, “after mulling it over, he decided he probably ought to send the bears away to the forest police in Maguan county in the hopes that they could be relocated to an appropriate habitat.”

They certainly are cute aren't they?!
