It's no secret that Mariah Carey's "All I Want for Christmas" is one of, if not the, most popular Christmas songs ever!

Her holiday music is so popular that Jason Evart of Orangevale, California, incorporated all her Christmas videos for his Christmas home display. Aside from all the lights and oversized Christmas Santas, he set up a projector to continuously play her videos on the side of his house. People from all over came to see the display, and one even posted the sight to Twitter. And that caught Mariah's attention.

She was so honored and impressed that she reached out to Jason and his mom via FaceTime.

“Hi, how are you! Merry Christmas!,” Mariah said in an energetic voice. “Merry Christmas!” they replied.

Mariah was spending the holidays in Aspen. But the three-minute call included a glimpse of her snowy surroundings.

“Thank you for making me a part of your Christmas, and you being a part of mine,” she said at the end of the call.

While Mariah was happy with the gesture, Evart got the surprise of a lifetime.

“It really means a lot to me that she actually contacted me and said merry Christmas," he said. “From the queen of Christmas herself!”
