March 22, 2011 10:19 AM Marriage proposals seem to be so romantic and perfect in the movies, don’t they? In reality, there are plenty of women who are pretty unhappy with how their proposal was done.
In a recent poll, “Men’s Health” found one in four women hated the way their marriage proposal was done. What did they hate about it? They were hoping the proposal would have been more original, personal or romantic. Another complaint was the proposal wasn’t private enough or was too over-the-top. A third of the women polled said the biggest mistake their husband made was proposing without the ring. The poll also revealed men’s attitudes about popping the big question. Most of the men in the poll said they planned the proposal without any help and a large percentage of them also didn’t want help picking out the ring either.
