Watch McDonald’s New Filet-o-Fish Commercial

McDonald’s raised the humble Filet-o-Fish to cultural icon status with its talking fish “Gimmie Back That Filet-o-Fish.” For 2014, the advertising campaign that surfaces annually during the Lenten season has a new viral commercial.

The 30 second commercial looks to be something between Moby Dick and Buck Rogers with a sea captain and his crew in a futuristic 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea submarine rapping a sea shanty about the Filet-o-Fish.

Watch the McDonald’s Filet-o-Fish commercial

Here’s a little mildly interesting take on two Filet-o-Fish commercials, the top video has the sandwich special for 2 for $3.49 while the lower video is advertising a 2 for $4 special. Hmmm. Price and participation may vary indeed.
