McDonald’s India Gives Out Books Instead Of Toys In Happy Meals

Remember growing up and buying a McDonald's happy meal? Remember the toy you would find inside? Well, in India that isn't the case. Children will now find books inside of their Happy Meals instead of toys.

Here's the logic behind the move:

McDonalds feels that the giving out of books in the Happy Meal works 'well with the choices and experiences that are in step with the changing consumer lifestyles, while championing children’s happiness and well-being.'"

According to reports, there will be 16 different books that will be offered to kids including stories of the human body, space, history, baby animals and scientific facts.
