Every once in a while I like to make a prediction on an upcoming band. I'd like to go out on a limb and say we'll be hearing more from Fitz and the Tantrums in the near future. They formed in 2008 and it wasn’t long before Fitz & The Tantrums were being spoken of as one of the most exciting live acts in the country. I noticed they played a show in Syracuse recently and then I saw their video on VH1 convincing me to share their story with you.

A while back I had a chance to meet Fitz and talk about the bands history. He told me;

“We busted our butts,” he says. “We just kept building a name for ourselves, getting our music out there in a really old school way – playing as many shows as we could, winning over five, ten, fifty people at a time.”

From the studio to the stage, Fitz & The Tantrums give everything they have to anything and everything they do. Check out their video for 'Out Of My League'.  Like skinny ties, a pop 80s melody is coming back. It fully confirms to me that Fitz & The Tantrums are here to stay.
