Megan Fox and Brian Austin Green Split After 11 Years
UPDATE: Megan Fox has filed for divorce, according to TMZ.
The big celebrity breakup spree of 2015 continues: Megan Fox and Brian Austin Green have reportedly separated after 11 years together.
The couple, who were married in a low-key ceremony back in 2010 after six years together and one broken engagement, have allegedly been rocky for some time. US Weekly reports that an "insider" says the two actually made the decision six months ago. While no official statement has arrived from the couple and there's no cause cited for the breakup as of yet, the source claims "things have been rocky."
The couple have two sons together, two-year-old Noah and Bodhi, 18 months. They met shortly after Megan arrived in Hollywood, when she was just 18 and the former Beverly Hills, 90210 star was 30. As their careers both saw respective peaks and valleys, the pair made their love last for over a decade. Fox ended their first engagement in 2009, telling US that "marriage isn't a realistic goal for someone who is under 23," but they married the following year.
11 years is basically equal to a 100 years in the world of Hollywood romance, so perhaps Fox and Green should be commended for their relative longevity. The split follows a rash of high-profile divorces including Gwen Stefani and Gavin Rossdale, Jennifer Garner and Ben Affleck and Blake Shelton and Miranda Lambert.
