Just announced: John Mellencamp's "Sad Clowns & Hillbillies" 2017 Summer Tour will be making three stops in New York.

The 2017 Summer concert season for Central and Upstate New York is sure to be a huge one. It seems like every week there are more artists and groups being added to the growing list of performers coming to our area this year. Now, John Mellencamp has released the dates and locations to his "Sad Clowns & Hillbillies" 2017 Summer Tour, which includes three stops in New York. Unfortunately, two of those stops are a little bit of a drive (and one of those happens to be in the City), but there is one stop a little closer to home.

John Mellencamp will be performing at CMAC in Canandaigua on Saturday, July 8th. Doors open at 5:30pm with the show starting at 7pm. Tickets range from $49.50 to $99.50 for pavilion seating. Also joining John Mellencamp at this show in Canandaigua is Emmylou Harris & Carlene Carter and Lily & Madeline.

If you can't make it out to that location or date, there are two other stops in New York. John Mellencamp will be performing at Bethel Woods Center for the Arts in Bethel on Friday, July 7th, and he'll be at Forest Hills Stadium in New York City on Tuesday, July 11th.

Tickets for all these shows go on sale next Friday (February 24th), at 10am. Pre-sale tickets and VIP tickets will be available starting Wednesday (February 22nd).
