A favorite stop of yours when you attend the Great New York State Fair is likely the Rainbow Milk Bar where ice cold cups of white or chocolate milk are just 25 cents. At this year's fair, you can help families in need get milk with the new "Get One and Give One Too" campaign.

When you purchase your cups of milk, you can also donate milk to food banks. Donation collection bins will be set up at each Rainbow Milk Bar station.

Amazingly while New York is a top milk producing state, according to a Department of Agriculture and Markets media release, food banks on average around New York are only able to donate 1 gallon of fresh milk a year per family in need. The milk donation drive hopes to up that number considerably with a goal to raise $22,000.

Just how good is the milk at the Rainbow Milk Bar? We named it one of the top 3 healthiest choices at the New York State fair.
