Money Saving News From The Great New York State Fair
The New York State Fair has announced that a limited number of $15 tickets are now on sale to see R&B and hip hop artists Ne-Yo and Cee Lo Green performing Friday, Aug. 26 at 7:30 p.m., and for American Rock Band 3 Doors Down with opening acts Saving Abel and SafetySuit performing Sunday, Aug. 28 at 7:30 p.m. Both concerts will be held at the New York State Fair Grandstand.
“The New York State Fair is pleased to announce they have teamed up with the management of Ne-Yo, Cee Lo Green, and 3 Doors Down to be able to offer a limited number of $15 tickets as they continue to make the Fair family friendly and affordable,” said Dan O’Hara, New York State Fair director. Dan will call into the Lite 98.7 morning show this week to give us more details.
5,000 discounted tickets are available for each show in Grandstand sections 2 and 3. The promotion is offered at the New York State Fair Box Office and online through Ticketmaster. Admission to the Fair on the day of the show is included with the advanced purchase of a Grandstand concert ticket.
For both shows, a limited number of premium tickets remain for seating on the track and in Grandstand box seats. Premium tickets are $55 for Ne-Yo and Cee Lo Green, and $40 for 3 Doors Down.

The 2011 Grandstand concert series includes Train and Maroon 5 featuring Adam Levine (above) with opening act Gavin DeGraw on Aug. 25; Ne-Yo and Cee Lo Green on Aug. 26; Selena Gomez & the Scene with opening act Christina Grimmie on Aug. 27; 3 Doors Down with opening acts Saving Abel and SafetySuit on Aug. 28; Journey, Foreigner and Night Ranger on Aug. 30; Lady Antebellum with opening act Sunny Sweeney on Sept. 2 and Sugarland with opening act Sara Bareilles on Sept. 3.
The 2011 Fair starts in just a few days. It will run from Aug. 25 to Sept. 5.
