More Great Acts Coming To The New York State Fair
The Great New York State Fair has announced several more of the acts that will perform during this year’s Chevy Court concert series. They includes pop, rock and country artists as well as celebrity chefs. Two different acts will perform each day at 2 p.m. and 8 p.m. All shows at Chevy Court are FREE with Fair admission.

“The Chevy Court concert series is continuing to prove that the New York State Fair is home of the best free music venue in the country,” said Dan O’Hara, New York State Fair director.
Here are The Country Acts
Ronnie Dunn, formerly of the country hit duo Brooks and Dunn, will perform on Tuesday, August 30 at 8 pm.

Trace Adkins, who has six platinum albums and two gold albums, will perform at 8 pm on Saturday, Aug. 27. In addition, Adkins has charted more than twenty songs including “Just Fishin” off his latest album Proud to Be Here released in 2011. You may reacll that Trace was a finalist on The Celebrity Apprentice.
Jake Owen, a country singing sensation whose two albums have both charted in the top ten, will perform at 8 pm on Monday, Sept. 5.
Larry Gatlin & the Gatlin Brothers, an award winning country singing family, will perform on Thursday, Aug. 25 at 8 pm.
Enjoy These Pop & Rock Acts
Hinder, an American rock band with numerous chart topping singles, will perform on Sunday, Sept. 4 at 8 pm.
Hot Chelle Rae will perform on Saturday, Sept. 3 at 2 pm.
KC and the Sunshine Band, known for their diverse style which includes funk, disco and R&B, will perform on Sunday, Aug. 28 at 8 pm. Perhaps you’ve ‘desk danced’ to the disco hits “That’s the Way (I Like It)”, “(Shake, Shake, Shake) Shake Your Booty”, “I’m Your Boogie Man”, “Keep It Comin’ Love”, “Get Down Tonight”, “Give It Up”, and “Please Don’t Go” you’ve heard on Lite 98.7.
The Pointer Sisters, an American Pop/R&B group who has had numerous hit songs over their three decades of recording, will perform on Thursday, Aug. 25 at 2 pm.
The Celebrity Chefs will be cookin’
Buddy Valastro, otherwise known as the Cake Boss, will demonstrate his cake making abilities on Wednesday, Aug. 31 at 2 pm.
Pat and Gina Neely, Food Network stars and restaurateurs, will appear at 2 pm on Sunday, Sept. 4 to demonstrate their barbequing skills and emcee the Best Burger Contest hosted by the New York Beef Industry Council. Somebody make a Boilermaker Burger please!
