This has been a great year for YA lit so far. From John Green's 'The Fault in Our Stars' hitting the big screen in a very big way, to the growing celebration of authors such as Rainbow Rowell and Veronica Roth, to the recently sparked debate over whether Young Adult is really only meant for those whose age ends in the word "teen," YA literature has taken over, and 2014 isn't over yet. Check out some of the great books the rest of the year has to offer in our Most Anticipated YA Books of 2014 list! Whether your thing is dystopian, fantasy, or just plain romance, there's something for you in this bunch.

'Heir of Fire' by Sarah J. Maas

    Release Date: Sept. 2, 2014

'Heir of Fire' is the third addition to the best-selling 'Throne of Glass' series by Sarah J. Maas. The series is picking up steam quickly, and this book is one of the most anticipated of the year by far.

According to her website, the series all started when Maas asked herself, “What if Cinderella was an assassin, and went to the ball not to dance with the prince, but to kill him?” Thus Celaena Sardothien was born. Though the story has developed vastly and morphed dramatically in the decade it took her to write the series, it is still a gripping fantasy read that puts battles and romance side by side in an epic way.
