The MVCC Cultural Series holds many events in the community throughout the year and this March they are having a celebration of all things Utica. It's called #IHeartUtica Day and it will include food, music, and talks from people that contribute to making our city what it is.

The event is slated for Thursday, March 3rd, 2016 and it is being held at the MVCC Snack Bar in the Alumni College Center. This event is not only being put on by MVCC's Cultural Series, but also the group "Made in Utica." The party goes from 6-9 p.m. and will include the following:

  • Vendors, Food, and Art (6-8 p.m.)
  • Music from Simple Props (6:30-7:30 p.m.)
  • "Pulse of Utica" Panel Discussion and Live Stream (8-9 p.m.)
    • The highlight of “I Heart Utica Day” will feature a panel of local people who represent different facets of Utica life for a discussion on the city.

Students get in for free. Tickets are available online 24/7 at www.mvcc.edu/tickets, at the MVCC Bookstore (Utica Campus) or at the Will-Call Window, located next to Schafer Theater in the IT Building on the Utica Campus, 1-hour prior to the event’s scheduled start-time.
