My Most Exciting Moments of 2011 – Mark’s Top 5

How was your 2011? Did you experience more ups than downs? I hope so, because I sure did. Going to Florida to spend time with my dad and Tammy's Aunt Gretchen was wonderful. Finally getting Dylan potty trained was a relief. And seeing my 17 year old son driving his own car because he's doing well in school and he passed his test is heart warming. Check out my Top 5 list of the most exciting experiences of mine in 2011.

My High School Reunion

Do I have to tell you how many years it's been since I graduated from high school? Let's just say it's been decades since I've been able to hang out with friends I graduated with from West Seneca East Senior High School. Pictured are high school and neighborhood friends Rick Brooks and Nadine Tomasulu. It was great seeing everyone again.

FBI

This was one of my 'I told you so moments'. At the risk of sounding like a political blow hard, I been consistently saying, since 2003, the terrorists are laughing at us from Pakistan. I'll bet that's where Bin Laden is, let's go get him! When we finally did, I celebrated like the rest of our country.

Our 4th Anniversary

I know, I know…only #3? Your wife is gonna kill ya! Well, I do have big plans in store for our 5th next year. This year we both took the day off from work, spoiled ourselves and enjoyed a delicious dinner at Mitsuba. Our wedding anniversary is a very special day indeed.

Boy it was great seeing my buddies from Buffalo again. Both Robby and Johnny called the morning show to promote their big show at The Stanley in November. After all these years, they still rock and Robby still remembers his high school buddy, Mark Richards.

The Buffalo Bills Beat The New England Patriots

Every year we go to one Bills game in Orchard Park NY. When I found out it was the Patriots game, I thought, darn, there's a loss. Tammy, Mark, Dave Wheeler & I were ready to leave when they were down 21 -0 at halftime. Well, I lost my voice screaming as they came back to win. It's been 8 years since they last beat New England. Will it happen again this weekend? I hope so.
