Former first lady Nancy Reagan will be buried today in a casket that was made in Syracuse. The casket is a Marsellus Casket, and many other famous people have chose this brand through the years. 

According to Syracuse.com, the casket is the company's top of the line model.

"It's one of the finest hardwood caskets made in the world," Marsellus said. "It's a beautiful piece of work."

Marsellus Casket closed back in 2003, but it had a 131-year run in Syracuse. Through the years the company became the casket choice for former presidents and their wives.

Other presidents and first ladies buried in Marsellus caskets:

• Harry S. Truman and his wife, Bess
• John F. Kennedy and his wife, Jackie
• Richard Nixon and his wife, Pat

According to Fox News, the funeral for former first lady Nancy Reagan will be held on today (March 11th) at the Ronald Reagan Presidential Library in Simi Valley, California. The funeral will be closed to the public. Nancy Reagan will be buried next to her husband at the library.
