Rod Stewart has been a part of the music industry for decades but the one thing he's never done, until now, is release a Christmas album.  That's about to change.

Stewart is teaming up with mega-successful producer David Foster to work on his first Christmas album.  He'll be singing duets with special guests but so far the Christmas album doesn't have a title yet.  Look for the album to be out sometime this fall.  Stewart has also signed a big long term recording deal with Universal Music Group.   UMG's Chairman, Lucian Grainge says he's thrilled to have Stewart on board and "delighted to be part of the next great chapter in his already storied career."  Stewart kicks off his next tour dates July 20th in Ohio with Stevie Nicks.  He says it's more of a challenge at 67 to do live shows but he still feels like he's 26.
